







Hello!!
To start off this post, we'd like to thank everyone who showed up for our second promotion run. Although fewer showed up than expected, I believe the session had a good enough crowd.
The session on the Futsal pitch in Bangsar Sports Complex started off with our standard warm up, comprising of few laps of jogs, hops, side shuffles, toe touches and caterpillars. The crew then followed up with few exercise technique drills which was alternated with jogs in between sets and ended with some zig-zags & sprints before the first H2O break. Total time sent, 30 minutes.
Second part of the training was also done on the turf. There were six 1 minute exercises in the circuit which we targeted (and managed) to complete in 8 minutes. The intial plan was to do 2 sets of Push ups, agility & speed foot work, crunches, medicine ball squat to chest throws, resistance band pullys and step lunges. However, we had to allow the next futsal crew to take over the pitch.
Another breather and a sip of H20 was allowed. At this time we moved out to the stairs right next to the pitch.
We finished off the session with some stair work which targeted on improving strength of the lower extremity. The session ended with a generalized flexibility routine conducted by former Assistant Physiotherapist, Zarah.
